Plymouth - Pennycross
Our Plymouth day nursery is an excellent childcare setting for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers to make their first discoveries. We understand children needs and know how best to support them as they make their first steps through their early years education.
Inside the nursery there are five age-specific rooms which are all large, well maintained and resourced. Children have access to the spacious garden from their base rooms and we encourage everyone to develop a love of playing outdoors, whether it is racing around on the grass, climbing on the apparatus or all-weather play in our undercover area.
Making sure every child in our care is happy and healthy is our priority. We prepare fresh and healthy meals onsite in purpose-built kitchens. At all times children’s care and learning is supported by a confident and capable staff team, who participate in regular professional development to ensure the highest standards of care.
This setting was formerly Going Places Day Nursery and became part of Mama Bear’s on 2nd July 2012. The nursery is open all year round (except bank holidays and Christmas Week) and welcomes all families.
Meet our Nursery Manager: Alex
Welcome to our Springhill Green setting. We offer a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment and cater from the age of 3 months up to 5 years. Our baby rooms offer an encouraging environment for babies to discover and experiment in their surroundings with support from our nurturing baby team. Our passionate and professional staff team are dedicated in providing your children with fun, tailored and exciting opportunities that promote individual learning and developmental goals. We have an effective key person system and we encourage our families to contribute towards their child’s learning and development using our online Eylog tool. This allows us to develop strong relationships with our families and work in partnership towards early learning goals and outcomes desired for all of our children to succeed. We strive to help your children become confident and independent and develop the skills required ready for their next adventure into ‘Big School’.
